Allocate Stock in Bulk

To bulk allocate stock, you should already have a warehouse layout in place with bins you want to allocate to. This works best if you have already printed out bin labels and have product barcodes since you can continuously allocate stock to bins simply by scanning.
Requirements:
  • All bins you plan to allocate stock to have been added to your warehouse layout

  • You have stock in Shopify that has not been allocated to bins within SKUSavvy. To import stock in bulk upload your stock to Shopify, resync into SKUSavvy and use the bulk allocation tool

  • Not required but suggested is to use hardware scanning so no clicks or taps are required during this process

Bulk Product Changes

You can change product information such as length, width, height, weight, serial number requirements, and fresh to frozen item management. This can be done from the product list by selecting the flattened list view and tapping on the 3-dot menu then selecting 'Bulk Edit Items'

You can apply filters to the product table to edit only those products matching your filters.
Requirements:
  • To edit serialization you'll need to enable serialized inventory from the configuration

  • To edit fresh to frozen product management you'll need to turn this on within the configuration options

Product Barcode Printing

You can change product information such as length, width, height, weight, serial number requirements, and fresh to frozen item management. This can be done from the product list by selecting the flattened list view and tapping on the 3-dot menu then selecting 'Bulk Edit Items'

You can apply filters to the product table to print only those products matching your filters.
Requirements:
  • Custom label template

Create Bins in Bulk

There are a few different ways to create many bins in one pass. First, you can duplicate the bins from one shelf to another. You can also generate the bins based on the number of rows and columns on a shelf. Another method to use is simply duplicating an already created shelf by holding control + C on your keyboard, and control + V to paste. Additionally, bin names can be generated in bulk. These are all accessible from within a warehouse under the layout edit view.
Requirements:
  • Warehouse within SKUSavvy

Print Bins In Bulk

Once you've created a warehouse layout in SKUSavvy each bin is automatically assigned a barcode based on your default barcode types within the configuration settings on SKUSavvy. Once the bin barcode is generated you'll be able to print this out one at a time, or all bins at once, or a whole shelf at a time.
Requirements:
  • Your warehouse layout has been created in SKUSavvy

  • Create a bin label template (defaults already included)

Bulk Import

You can import the items you want to add to a purchase order, outbound order, or transfer order from the order creation screen on each of these respective order types. You cannot import and create multiple orders from one import, each import will need to be made for a single order, and should just be the items you want to import. The main columns for your import should include SKU, and quantity. Other columns are allowed such as on a purchase order you can include serial numbers, lot and expiration dates, cost, price, and vendor SKU.
Requirements:
  • Import spreadsheet as a .CSV file type with a minimum of SKU and quantity

  • Start the order creation process

Asign Products to Vendors

By default when you connect Shopify with SKUSavvy your vendor product assignments will come over. If you add new products to Shopify, you can add a vendor to the product and it will come into SKUSavvy as well. For other products that do not have a vendor assignment you may need to assign them in bulk. This can be achieved by simply going into the purchase order creation, select a vendor, then uncheck 'Vendor Items' and simply add the product to a PO. This product, if not previously related to this vendor will now be associated with this vendor.

In addition, you can assign vendors in bulk through an import during the PO creation process. For any item that is not already associted, it will be associated after being added during the import.
Requirements:
  • Unassigned product must be added to SKUSavvy or through a connected Shopify store (add products on Shopify first)

  • Add the vendor you want to assign product to (one product may be added to multiple vendors at different cost

Check-In All Transfer Items

During a transfer order check-in you can utilize the bulk check-in feature to automatically count all units in the order to be placed in a single bin location at once. This makes it quick to count all the items, although it leaves room for error on the physical count if you have not actually received all the inventory so we advise this feature be used with caution.

To bulk check-in your transfer order create the transfer, fulfill the outbound side of the transfer then move on to the inbound side (you can click on the inbound warehouse name to go into this) and tap 'Count All' which will automatically complete the count for all inbound items on the transfer.
Requirements:
  • Create a transfer and fulfill the outbound side

  • You must enable bulk counting from the configuration on your account

count all items on a transfer configuration

Override Inventory In Bulk

If your inventory becomes more accurate in SKUSavvy than in Shopify, or if your inventory is more accurate in Shopify than SKUSavvy you have the option to override the inventory in one from the other. This can be done by going into the Shopify connection on SKUSavvy and tapping on 'Resync Inventory' which will prompt you to select the source to use to override the other. Here you can also override select locations instead of the entire store.
Note: this can only be done once every 12 hours per connected store

Note: this does not replace the values, it sends up the difference in values between the source and destination inventories
Requirements:
  • Shopify store connection
